本文从方法论，资本主义发展的历史情境及奥斯曼个人在历史中的作用，哈维所重构的1830—1871 年间巴黎城市社会过程三方面解读大卫· 哈维的《巴黎：现代性之都》，并将文本解读与中国城市现实结合起来。

The paper reviews Paris: Capital of Modernity by David Harvey from three main aspects: research methodology, capitalism’s historic context and the historic role of Haussmann, Paris’s social process from 1830-1871 reconstructed by Harvey, and combines the text reading with the urban reality of contemporary China.
